A Prayer For A Dear Friend

Our dear friend Harry has just undergone a heart surgery procedure down in Florida. We hear the surgery went great and our buddy is doing well. We pray for his speedy recovery! Hang in there Harry, We Love Ya man!

Another One For The Book!

We dodged a buncha storms on this trip, but never got wet. Saw a lot of great sites, as well as storm ravaged areas. We will call this one a success!...2700 miles & 10 states....Already planning our next GDRCS Road Trip Adventure. Below is a short You Tube clip of our fun...Wish you could have been there!

A Successful Texas Adventure

Our trip took us some 2700 miles.

We dodged severe storms and kinda
waited one out. We eventually wound
up on the back side of the weather
system, but saw a lot of flooded farm
land, and the rath the tornados had left.

"Texas Bound".....George Dickel Red Cup Society

The Red Cup bunch is departing on motorcycles Sunday, with the ultimate destination being Texas. We have had a few great posts from some Dickel Drinkin' Texans. We intended to see everything Texas has to offer and maybe share a "Sip" with a Dickel patriot or two. The trip is slated for some 2700 miles and 12 states. Points of interest will include Atlanta, Gulfport, Austin, Fort Worth, Memphis, Nashville, and a whole bunch more! There is a mechanical bull in a few of these places. This could get interesting! Do I need to say we're excited....We'll have more to report at a later date. We hope for a safe ride and tornado avoidance!

World Famous People Cook For The GDRCS

This month's meeting is Tim's treat. He has hooked up with
Mark Flynt (Pulliams B-B-Q) to come cook for us.
Since that arrangement, Mark was named No#1 in the
South, by Racheal Ray Magazine for his outstanding Hot Dogs!
Not only is the food good, but Mark is one heck of a guy as well.
I think this is going to be a great event. See ya February24th.
